A core component of our practice is the broad spectrum of activities that concern the relationship of employees to employers, both union and non-union.
Management, unions, and individual union members come to us with many concerns about their rights, their health and safety, and their relations with other employees and management. Whether representing management or union, we recognize the importance of a stable workforce with healthy employer-employee relations.
Our clients enjoy working with us to devise creative and pragmatic solutions to their problems. We have extensive experience with all of the issues that concern them: collective bargaining negotiations, contract administration, arbitration, and mediation of grievances, union representation campaigns, unfair labor practice charges and grievance, and wrongful discharge issues.
Our experience includes negotiating many collective bargaining contracts and successfully handling a variety of arbitrations arising out of grievances under those contracts. Additionally, we have collaborated with our clients to resolve everything from employee termination disputes to contract interpretation matters such as promotion decisions, lay off selection and implementation procedures, and changes in work assignments/schedules.
