As counselors and attorneys, we give advice to our clients on the full range of labor and employment matters. With over 25 years experience, we have a knowledge and understanding of the law necessary to help our clients navigate through any legal challenge, whether it is (or from) drafting a simple contract or representing them in complex litigation.

 
Counseling & Transactional Services
Our clients are faced with an ever-increasing number of state, federal, and local laws regulating labor and employment. We help to ensure compliance with these laws and regulations. Our clients find that our assistance may avoid workplace disputes before they may occur, preventing costly litigation and improving their workplace environments.

Structuring recruitment, hiring, advancement, disciplinary, staff reduction, sexual harassment, and termination policies and procedures, are all good examples of how we help our clients comply with all applicable law.

 
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
When we cannot help our clients resolve an issue by other means, it is often necessary to turn to the courts for resolution. We have extensive experience representing clients in state and federal jury and non-jury trials, as well as before the various administrative agencies that regulate labor and employment issues. We are equally adept at prosecuting or defending claims.

Similarly, we have vast experience in many forms of alternate dispute resolution, particularly arbitration and mediation of union grievances. We stand ready to litigate where necessary, but many of our cases do - and should - settle favorably to our client prior to trial. We understand that litigation can be costly and disruptive and may not always bring about the best possible net result to our clients.
