Yogendra B. Patel is an associate in the firm. Mr.Patel
is admitted to practice in the New York State and Connecticut bars and
the Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
His current practice includes education law, employment and labor law,
commercial litigation and corporate transactions. Mr. Patel has been involved
in the representation of clients before various administrative agencies,
such as the Department of Education, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene,
Federal immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Mr. Patel is actively involved with his alma mater. The City University
of New York School of Law, where he has served as an adjunct Professor
of Law. He is also a member of the South Asian Bar Association of New
York, the New York City Bar Association; and the New York State Bar Association.
At CUNY Law School, Mr. Patel was a Haywood Burns Fellow in Civil and
Human Rights, SABNY Public Interest Scholar and David and Mary Passantino
Scholar. Prior to joining the firm, he was assistant general counsel to
F.J. Sciame Construction Co., Inc. where he practiced in the area of construction
law.
Mr. Patel received an undergraduate degree from Hunter College and a
J.D. from CUNY Law School. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya and is fluent
in four languages.
